Being A Fresher At The Club

Royal Holloway Polo has been the welcoming experience I needed when I came to University! Coming from Dubai, I didn't have many friends here in England, but when I joined the polo club; I met some of the most genuine people that I will be sure to keep in touch with throughout my life.

The polo itself, is a dream come true. Most of us play every week, training hard, but in the best ways possible! Ash Farm, who play host to us have been so welcoming, and not only in the sport side, but they host some amazing events too! The social side of Royal Holloway Polo has been persistently fun!

We often meet up, and go out together as a group! The highlight of the social side of Royal Holloway Polo would have had to have been 'Rock the Polo'. It was a formal black tie event, but that was the last formality; we all had an amazing time. I can't wait to see what the future of this club holds for us. It's honestly the best decision I have made joining the club since coming to University.
